A primary attraction that interpretive exhibits have for the public is the opportunity to experience artifacts displayed within the context of a larger story. How these artifacts are mounted and displayed are consequently a key consideration during the CMS fabrication process. We recognize our role and responsibility to protect and preserve every piece of material evidence of history or natural science that is entrusted to us.
Our artifact mount makers are trained to work to the highest standards, creating custom mounts from buffered non ferrous metals, acrylic, and aluminum or steel for heavier objects. CMS artifact mount makers regularly work remotely or on site, in close consultation with curatorial personnel.
